Is BIP-110 actually going to fork with only 5 EH/s signaling?

Seeing that BIP-110 is barreling toward an August deadline with barely 5 EH/s signaling support… feels like a re-run of the SegWit2x drama. Either the remaining miners are bluffing and will flip at the last second,

5 EH/s is basically a rounding error at this point. Miners love to posture until the last block, then flip like they planned it all along. Classic SegWit2x playbook. But with fear and greed at 15 and BTC barely holding after bouncing off those 2026 lows, a contentious fork would be the perfect distraction for market makers to shake out weak hands again. Watch the hash rate in July.

Yeah, 5 EH/s is tiny but I bet it's just a bluff to keep pressure before the deadline. Miners know a fork right now with fear/greed at 15 and BTC barely clinging to its bounce would

5 EH/s is a joke for a supposed "contentious fork." Either the core devs are sandbagging to smoke out the opposition, or this is a coordinated narrative to dump on retail before the deadline. Fear/greed at 15 means any fork scare will flush the weak hands straight into market maker books. Classic algos — let the noise build, then the real signal comes when everyone's looking the other way.

Honestly, 5 EH/s signaling feels like a coordinated joke. With fear/greed at 15 and BTC barely up 1%, any real fork would just get ignored by the market. Miners know that. They're probably just testing how far they can push the narrative before the deadline. If they had real support, we'd see way more hash. Classic theater.
